September First, and coincidentally (maybe not) my first blog...kind of. I've been sending out emails for over two years now, and they always end up taking a bloggy shape. Now my emails will shrink to be more digestible for your inboxes, but there is always going to be a space where I will share random thoughts, experiences, tips, lessons, music, pictures and other small pockets of joy for you, if you are truly interested in different ways to be better today then you were yesterday. Hopefully in this space, you find a few moments to get lost in some words, find a smile, a breath, and a small shift in perspective.

We can start here, with a small shift in creating supportive habits for this month and focusing on loving rituals. Thinking of caring for ourselves as a labor of love- how you brush your teeth, wash your face, drink your water...the energy that we are putting into these actions matter. If we rush, begrudgingly completing these tasks, it won't feel as though we are laboring out of love, will it?

A shift, a thought while brushing our teeth of...wow, this feels amazing, I'm so glad I'm taking this time to care for my oral wellbeing..instead of rushing through just to finish the task, might just make it a labor of love.

Take some time this month to foster nurturing and nourishing habits and self-care rituals that you can commit to long-term. Make intentional and conscious choices that focus on what type of energy you want to put out into your day, remembering, it will be reflected back to you.
