An Authentic 12-Step Pathway with Steph Wheelahan & Cheryl Vanase
Embodied Recovery™ is a therapeutic group experience that honors the transformative wisdom of 12-Step–based recovery principles while integrating science, somatics, and spirituality. Through trauma-sensitive movement, evidence-based group coaching modalities, 12-step pathway, and yogic philosophy, this program addresses the interconnection between trauma, addiction, and the body. Embodied Recovery™ creates space for presence, safety, and self-compassion, supporting sustainable healing and embodied transformation.
Session 2:
April 18, May 16, June 13
4-6 PM

Embodied Recovery™ provides a safe, trauma-informed group experience grounded in yoga philosophy and 12-Step–inspired recovery principles. Within this supportive setting, participants develop practical tools for emotional regulation through mindful movement, therapeutic processing, and embodied awareness; strengthening resilience and reconnecting with the body as a source of wisdom and healing.
Our integrative approach weaves together the relational power of group work, the embodied practices of yoga, and the spiritual foundations of recovery-based principles. This work supports a gentle shift from survival patterns into embodied presence, self-trust, and sustainable well-being.
Together, we create space to author an authentic recovery narrative rooted in self-awareness, connection, and meaningful, lasting change.
